Windows Mobile Synchronization without the Infrastructure

4SmartPhone announced an agreement in the U.S. between 4SmartPhone and EMBARQ Corporation that gives EMBARQ(TM) customers the ability to stay connected from virtually anywhere.

The deal combines 4SmartPhone's hosted Mobile Office solution (over-the-air synchronized email, contacts and calendar service) with the EMBARQ(TM) wireless offering for Windows Mobile powered devices, along with its voice and data capabilities. Currently, EMBARQ offers the UT Starcom 6700 smartphone running on the Windows Mobile platform.

EMBARQ(TM) customers who purchase the UT Starcom 6700 will notice a flyer in the box directing them to the website where they can purchase the 4SmartPhone package that best fits their needs. Prices range from $3.99 to $9.99 per month.

With 4SmartPhone, business customers can have the same email that is sent to their main computer automatically sent to their wireless phone as well, integrating both services and allowing the user to access their email from multiple devices. This saves time and frustration for customers of having to forward their wireless emails to a separate business email account in order to effectively conduct business.

Web site: http://www.embarq.com/
http://www.4smartphone.net/
