iPhone Revolutionary, Yeah Right.

In my previous rant, I compared the new Apple iPhone against Windows Mobile and how there really isn't anything revolutionary about the features it provides. Over at engadget.com, they point out that the design really isn't that revolutionary either. It appears that the Apple iPhone is very similar to the LG KE850.

In another development, the name iPhone isn't even revolutionary. It appears Apple is now being sued by Cisco for trademark infringement over the name iPhone. Cisco has several IP phones that go by the name of iPhone and the name iPhone has also been extended to Cisco's Linksys brand as well. It appears to be a clean cut case against Apple, we'll be watching to see how that develops.
