Seems like only yesterday when the first 30GB flash based hard drives came out, now we're talking 160GB. Adtron announced their 160GB SSD HDD is shipping.

Of course the impact of this on the UMPC as well as the portable media player industry are huge. Longer battery life and performance come along with SSD HDD technology. How about getting a 160GB Zune or UMPC? Now that sounds like something to place on my list for 2007... ....nice.
